Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash in Maine.

Turner, ME – A Lisbon man died following a crash Friday afternoon on Route 4.

William Brooks, 65, was riding a 2008 Harley-Davidson when he lost control around 3:49 p.m., veering off the road and colliding with an embankment, according to the Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office. Brooks was from the motorcycle and suffered serious injuries.

Authorities reported that Brooks was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was transported to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation, and no further details have been released.
