Funerals Announced for Clarksville Students Following Tragic West Tennessee Bus Crash.

Funeral arrangements have been announced for two Kenwood Middle School students killed in a March 27 crash in Carroll County.

The victims, 13-year-olds Zoe Davis and Arianna Pearson, were part of a group traveling to an electric go-kart competition. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.

Services for Zoe Davis will be held on April 4 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home in Clarksville, with visitation from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the funeral following immediately at 1 p.m.

Arianna Pearson's services are set for April 6-7 at Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with visitation from noon to 7 p.m. on April 6 and the funeral at 10 a.m. on April 7.

According to her obituary, Zoe was passionate about STEM, the arts, and Taekwondo, where she earned her black belt. She is survived by her parents and brother.

The school bus, a 2024 Blue Bird, was driven by Sabrina R. Ducksworth. A Tennessee Department of Transportation dump truck and a Chevrolet Trailblazer were also involved in the incident.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol has confirmed the ongoing investigation into the crash, which resulted in the loss of two lives among the 24 students and five staff members on board.

In the wake of the incident, vigils have been held in Clarksville and beyond to honor the victims. Flags in Clarksville and Montgomery County are being flown at half-staff until April 3.

“Our hearts are with the entire Kenwood Middle School community during this difficult time,” said Montgomery County Mayor Wes Golden.

Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts emphasized the need for unity among the community following the tragic event.
