BEDFORD, New Hampshire — Comedian Eugene Mirman was hospitalized with serious injuries following a fiery crash at the Bedford Toll Plaza on Tuesday.
Authorities reported that Mirman's vehicle struck a part of the toll plaza and caught fire, trapping him inside. A New Hampshire State Trooper, assigned to the governor's security detail, rescued Mirman by pulling him through a window.
Mirman's injuries are serious, but they are not life-threatening. Emergency medical services transported him to a local hospital.
The crash remains under investigation, with no further details on the cause or the status of the toll plaza.
