WEBSTER COUNTY, Iowa — A $2.75 million settlement has been approved for a woman injured in a snowplow crash in rural Webster County.
The Webster County Board of Supervisors finalized the settlement for Regina Rhea last week. Rhea sustained injuries in a collision with another vehicle while plowing snow in December 2022.
County officials confirmed that the settlement funds will come from insurance, not the county budget. Further details about the crash and Rhea's injuries have not been released.
Authorities said an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
