Motorcyclist Killed in Murray Crash; Investigation Underway
MURRAY, Utah — A motorcyclist died Tuesday evening following a collision on 5300 South near Intermountain Medical Center.
Murray Police reported that a car traveling westbound and a motorcycle heading eastbound collided when one attempted a left turn. The specific direction of the turn is still under investigation.
Witnesses attempted CPR until paramedics arrived, but the motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the car sustained minor injuries and is cooperating with authorities.
Authorities closed 5300 South in the vicinity, affecting access from State Street. The investigation is ongoing.
