BARNWELL, SC — A single-vehicle crash early New Year's Day claimed the life of 11-year-old Bailee Frazier.
The incident occurred at approximately 1 a.m. on January 1, when a 2015 Honda Accord traveling north on Red Oak Road veered off the left side of the roadway and struck a concrete loading platform, according to Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway with the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP).
The driver, 27-year-old Yasmin Wiggins, was accompanied by front-seat passenger Jamal Buxton, 38. In the backseat with Frazier were Addisyn Bing, 6, and Sevyn Buxton, 3. The conditions of the other passengers have not yet been released.
Authorities confirmed that the crash remains under investigation as of January 6, and no additional details regarding injuries or fatalities have been provided.
