COLUMBUS, Ohio — A private homecoming for three Ohio National Guard airmen's remains is set March 29 at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base.
According to the Adjutant General's Department and the Ohio National Guard, the airmen are Master Sgt. Tyler Simmons, 28, of Columbus; Capt. Curtis Angst, 30, of Wilmington; and Capt. Seth Koval, 38, of Stoutsville.
Authorities said the event is private for families.
The airmen were killed in a KC-135 refueling plane crash in Iraq in March 2026, according to officials.
