PLUMSTEDāA head-on collision involving a Toyota Sienna and a Ford Bronco resulted in three fatalities on Pinehurst Road late Friday night, according to authorities.
Plumsted police responded to the incident at 11:50 p.m., as confirmed by Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
Investigators determined the Bronco was traveling north on Pinehurst Road when it crossed into oncoming traffic, striking the minivan, Billhimer stated.
All three occupants of the minivan died at the scene. The driver of the Bronco was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton and is currently in stable condition, authorities said.
Identities of the deceased and the Bronco driver have not been disclosed.
The investigation remains ongoing.
