Motorcycle Rider Dies After Crash on Pleasant Valley Road in Holmdel
A motorcycle rider crashed into a guardrail on Pleasant Valley Road in Holmdel on Sunday morning, resulting in fatal injuries.
Authorities responded to the single-vehicle accident shortly before 10:30 a.m. The rider, who was riding alone, received immediate medical attention from Holmdel and Marlboro police, paramedics, and local rescuers before being transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune in critical condition, according to police.
The New Jersey State Police later reported that the rider has died. No further details regarding the victim have been released.
