NORFOLK, Va. — A 55-year-old woman died in the hospital following a single-vehicle crash on Norview Avenue on January 8, according to Norfolk Police.
Officers responded to the 1000 block of Norview Avenue at 3:15 p.m. after reports of the crash. First responders found the woman with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities identified the victim as Amanda McMillan from Virginia Beach. She was transported to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
According to investigators, speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
