Tiger Woods Arrested for DUI Following Crash in Jupiter Island

Tiger Woods was arrested today for DUI after a crash in Jupiter Island, Florida, around 2 p.m. ET.

According to the Martin County Sheriff's Office, Woods exhibited signs of impairment at the scene. He passed a breathalyzer test but refused a urinalysis, leading to charges of DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.

No significant injuries were reported from the crash. This incident marks Woods' latest legal issue following a previous DUI arrest in May 2017 in the same location, where he pleaded guilty to .

Woods, 50, was also involved in a one- crash in Southern California in February 2021, which resulted in multiple leg fractures but no charges. Since then, he has participated in few PGA Tour events.

He is not expected to compete in next month's Masters Tournament, although he had registered for the upcoming U.S. Senior Open.
