Doolittle Rural Fire Protection District crews responded to a single-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning on Highway 50.
At least one individual was left unresponsive with major trauma, according to a post from the Fire Protection District.
The crash resulted in multiple patients being entrapped within the vehicle, prompting the response of local emergency services.
Authorities said the incident occurred around 6:30 a.m., necessitating the closure of one lane for approximately two hours during the rescue and investigation.
Emergency medical personnel transported the injured to a nearby hospital. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
