Authorities identify victim of off-road vehicle crash near Minot.

BURLINGTON, N.D. — A 60-year-old man died Sunday night, March 8, after a crash on a gravel road near Minot.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Paul Hauser of Foxholm was driving a 2001 Polaris Magnum 500 northbound in the 7200 block of 87th Street Northwest around 7:35 p.m. He lost control of the vehicle after hitting a muddy area, which caused it to leave the road and overturn in the ditch.

Hauser was transported to Trinity Hospital in Minot, where he was . He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the crash. Burlington is approximately 5 miles northwest of Minot.
