Man Dies in Single Vehicle Crash in Chilton County
A 63-year-old man from Plantersville was killed in a single vehicle crash in Chilton County on March 17.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) reported the incident occurred around 4:35 p.m. on Alabama 22, approximately 9 miles west of Clanton. The victim, identified as Donald R. Wright, lost control of his truck, struck a mailbox, and then collided with a tree.
Wright was pronounced dead at the scene. The ALEA Highway Patrol Division is actively investigating the crash.
