JACKSON, Ohio (WCHS) — A Jackson County teen was committed to a juvenile correctional facility following a fatal crash on August 15, 2025, that resulted in the death of an off-duty police officer.

The 17-year-old pleaded guilty to second-degree aggravated vehicular homicide and third-degree aggravated vehicular assault in Jackson County Juvenile Court, according to a news release from Ohio Attorney General Andy Wilson.
