LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A T-bone collision resulted in one fatality Monday night at the intersection of Mountain Vista and Rawhide Street.
Authorities said a Mitsubishi Outlander was traveling north on Mountain Vista when it turned left onto Rawhide Street, colliding with an oncoming Toyota Solara. The impact caused the Outlander to hit a curb and overturn, fatally injuring a 72-year-old female passenger.
Both drivers were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Authorities reported that impairment does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
This incident marks the 99th traffic-related death in the Las Vegas Metropolitan area in 2023, according to police. The roadway has since reopened to traffic.
