INDIANAPOLIS — One woman is dead following a multi-vehicle crash on I-465 westbound at the Keystone Avenue exit ramp on Monday morning, according to Indiana State Police.
The collision occurred at approximately 7:20 a.m. and involved four vehicles in what ISP Sgt. John Perrine described as a “rear-ending chain reaction” crash. The driver of the second vehicle in the sequence sustained fatal injuries.
An off-duty police officer arrived on the scene shortly after the incident and pronounced the driver dead. Authorities have not provided additional details regarding injuries or the number of passengers involved.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further information is available at this time.
