SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A three-car collision closed northbound I-15 at 600 North in Salt Lake City on Tuesday afternoon, causing significant traffic delays.
The incident occurred between 3:30 p.m. and 3:40 p.m., prompting authorities to direct all northbound traffic to exit. Two individuals were transported to a local hospital via ambulance.
One victim is reported in stable condition, while another sustained serious injuries after being ejected from a vehicle, according to officials.
Northbound lanes are anticipated to remain closed for approximately two hours for investigation and cleanup, authorities said.
