MAYES COUNTY, Okla. (KOKH) — Emergency crews responded to a fatal crash in Mayes County on Sunday afternoon.
Shortly before 3 p.m., Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers were dispatched to a collision at Hwy 82 and County Road 350.
According to authorities, an Edmond man failed to yield at a stop sign, leading to a collision with another vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle, 77-year-old Gary Goodman, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Emergency responders are continuing to investigate the incident.
