MANSFIELD, MA—A serious multi-vehicle crash occurred on I-495 northbound Sunday afternoon, resulting in multiple injuries.
Emergency services responded to the scene at approximately 2:41 p.m. involving three vehicles. According to authorities, two individuals were trapped and subsequently rescued from their cars; they were transported to a Rhode Island hospital. A third victim was taken to Boston Medical Center South.
Two vehicles ended up in the median, while the third was found off the road in a wooded area.
