Pedestrian Killed in Early-Morning Crash in Jackson
JACKSON, Miss. — A pedestrian was struck and killed on Highway 80 early Monday morning.
The incident occurred just after 5:30 a.m. near Bobby Rush Boulevard. Hinds County Coroner Jeramiah Howard reported that the victim has not yet been identified.
According to authorities, the driver remained at the scene following the crash. Investigators noted damage to the vehicle, including a broken windshield.
