Plymouth Head-On Crash Results in Serious Injuries, Teen Driver Taken Into Custody

Emergency responders extracted the male driver from the sedan, who was then to Plymouth Municipal Airport and subsequently to a trauma center in Boston. His injuries are reported as severe. The SUV's driver sustained minor injuries and is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital.

According to Kingston Police, the teen had fled a wellbeing check earlier in Kingston, where family members expressed concern for her safety. Witnesses reported erratic driving and attempted to pull her over; however, the pursuit was terminated due to public safety concerns.

After the crash, authorities said the teen attempted to flee on foot but was soon apprehended by Plymouth Police. Criminal charges are pending from both the Kingston and Plymouth police departments. The teen's identity has not been released due to juvenile privacy laws.

Plympton Road was closed during the incident response but has since reopened. Further investigation into the crash is ongoing.
