Osage Beach Motorcycle Crash Injures Three

Osage Beach, MO – Three individuals were injured in a motorcycle collision on U.S. Highway 54 at Key Largo on Thursday afternoon.

Osage Beach Police responded to the scene around 2:41 p.m. where two motorcycles were involved in the crash. Initial reports indicated that a 56-year-old man from Indianola, Iowa, was operating one motorcycle when he slowed abruptly.

A second motorcycle, operated by a 50-year-old male and carrying a 55-year-old female passenger, both from Maple Hill, Kansas, changed lanes to avoid a collision. The Iowa motorcyclist made a sudden left turn, crossing the inside lane in front of the second motorcycle.

Authorities confirmed the Kansas motorcyclist struck the Iowa man as he crossed in front. All three individuals were from their motorcycles and subsequently transported to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.

According to the Osage Beach Police Department, none of the riders were wearing helmets at the time of the crash. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
