WOMAN FOUND DECEASED NEAR MEDICAL FACILITY IN PRAIRIE VILLAGE
PRAIRIE VILLAGE, KS — Authorities confirmed the discovery of a deceased woman in the 23400 block of Prairie Star Parkway on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
Officers responded to the area at approximately 2:41 p.m. after receiving a welfare check request concerning the woman, who had left a nearby medical facility. First responders arrived on the scene and confirmed her death shortly thereafter.
The identity of the woman and the cause of death have not been released pending notification of next of kin. The investigation is ongoing, and more information will be provided as it becomes available, according to the Prairie Village Police Department.
