VALLONIA, Ind. (WISH) — Two individuals were killed in a three-vehicle crash on South State Road 135 at 2:14 p.m. Saturday.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, Brandon Goodhue, 35, of Campbellsburg, was operating a 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle with passenger Desiree L. Freiberger, 26, of Greenville. The motorcycle was traveling south when it collided with a northbound 2019 Dodge Journey.
Witnesses reported that after the initial collision, the motorcycle veered into the northbound lane and struck a 2023 Toyota Camry. Deputy Coroner Todd Brumfield pronounced both Goodhue and Freiberger dead at the scene.
Emergency responders from the Indiana State Police arrived to reconstruct the accident. Both the sheriff's department and Indiana State Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
