Lexington, Ky. — A 19-year-old pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run early Sunday, Sept. 13, on East High Street near Woodland Park.
The Fayette County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Chance Lee Martin, 19, and said he died of multiple blunt force traumatic injuries.
According to WKYT, Martin was crossing East High Street next to Woodland Park at 3:56 a.m. when a vehicle struck him and left the scene.
Lexington Police Department and the Fayette County Coroner's Office responded. Authorities have not released a suspect or vehicle description.
The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
