MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — A medical emergency resulted in a rollover crash, causing significant delays on eastbound Interstate 84 near Meridian on Sunday morning.
According to Idaho State Police, the single-vehicle accident occurred at 8:15 a.m. on Sept. 13, 2026, at milepost 45 in Ada County.
Authorities reported that a 24-year-old man from Caldwell was driving a 1996 Ford Ranger with a juvenile passenger when he suffered a medical emergency. The vehicle struck the guardrail, rolled, and ended up on its driver's side in the travel lane.
Emergency responders closed the eastbound lanes for approximately three hours while addressing the situation and clearing debris. The crash remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
