Three Dead in Motorcycle Crash in Laconia on Saturday Night
LACONIA, N.H. — Three individuals died following a head-on motorcycle collision on Route 3 near the Looney Bin Bar at approximately 11 p.m. on Saturday.
According to authorities, two motorcycles, each carrying two riders, were involved in the crash. Police confirmed that Cameron Mosher, 28, of Dennis, Mass.; Miles Colette, 32, of Gilford; and Jeanine Fereshetian, 33, of Laconia, succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
A second female rider was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, with officials considering factors such as speed and alcohol. “There's nothing to indicate that at this time,” said Laconia Police Chief Matt Canfield.
Witness Candace McGrath from Leominster, Mass., who arrived shortly after the collision, described the chaotic scene. She attempted to assist a woman by the wreckage, which was engulfed in flames. First responders arrived before she could provide further aid.
The Laconia Police Department is handling the investigation. The Looney Bin Bar has no connection to the incident. Lane closures were reported while crews worked at the scene.
