A 28-year-old man from Lander, Wyo., was killed in a rollover crash on MT-19 near Grass Range on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2026, at 2:50 p.m.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol (MHP), the incident involved a 35-year-old driver who sustained injuries. The vehicle drifted off the road, struck a guardrail end, and rolled over. The passenger was ejected from the vehicle as he was not wearing a seat belt.
Authorities stated that alcohol, drugs, and speed are not suspected factors in the crash.
