BELLINGHAM, MA—A man sustained serious injuries in a truck crash involving a landscaping trailer on Farm Street on Saturday.
Authorities said the victim was standing on the trailer when a pickup truck collided with it, propelling him 15 to 20 feet from the impact. He was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment; however, his current condition is unknown.
The driver of the pickup remained on the scene and was also transported to the hospital. Witnesses reported that speed was not a factor in the crash, which is still under investigation.
Emergency responders from the Bellingham Police Department and other agencies attended the scene. An NBC10 Boston crew observed the damaged pickup truck resting atop the landscaping trailer.
