Early-morning single-vehicle crash in Logan County seriously injures three teens.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A early Friday in Logan County left a 17-year-old critically injured and two teens hurt, authorities said.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. on Township Road 218, east of John Street in Harrison Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Investigators said a 2006 Impala traveling northwest on TR 218 went off the right side, struck a culvert and an embankment, and overturned.

The 17-year-old male driver was flown by air ambulance to Miami Valley Hospital with life-threatening injuries, troopers said.

Two passengers, ages 13 and 16, were taken by ambulance to Mary Rutan Hospital with serious injuries. Authorities said the 13-year-old was later flown to Dayton Children's Hospital for further treatment.

No other vehicles were involved. The OSHP Marysville Post is investigating.
