CINCINNATI — A crash on Interstate 71 at Gilbert Avenue was captured live during a WCPO traffic report on Aug. 6.
According to WCPO traffic anchor and meteorologist KJ Jacobs, the collision appeared on the station's traffic camera feed during his update.
Authorities have not released details on the number of vehicles involved, injuries, tows or lane closures as of Aug. 12.
The on-air moment was later referenced in the Aug. 9 episode of “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver,” according to the program.
