A teen joyride in Buckeye resulted in an arrest after a vehicle crashed into an electrical box early Saturday morning, cutting power to the area, authorities said.
The 15-year-old suspect, whose name is withheld due to his age, allegedly stole his brother's Jeep to take two friends for a drive, according to the Buckeye Police Department.
The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. on West Harmony Drive. Emergency responders reported no injuries. Arizona Public Service was dispatched to restore power to the affected neighborhood.
The vehicle was towed from the scene. Buckeye Police are investigating the incident, and charges are pending against the minor.
