PHOENIX – A driver was killed in a crash on I-17 in Phoenix early Thursday morning.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the incident was reported at approximately 5:14 a.m., leading to the closure of southbound lanes. The lanes were reopened about 30 minutes later.
Authorities reported that the driver’s vehicle collided with a median barrier at a high rate of speed. The crash involved three vehicles, and an investigation is currently underway.
