OGDEN, Utah — A 63-year-old motorcyclist died following a collision on Wall Avenue Tuesday night.
According to Ogden Police, the incident occurred around 8:42 p.m. near the 1000 block of Wall Avenue. Authorities reported that the motorcyclist was traveling northbound when a Nissan Versa exited a parking lot, crossing into his path.
The motorcyclist was unable to stop in time and struck the vehicle. He was transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators stated that impairment does not appear to be a factor in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
