A multi-vehicle accident on I-295 North near mile marker 45 led to significant delays this afternoon in Trenton.
Accident involves three vehicles
Authorities confirmed that three vehicles were involved in the crash reported at 2:45 p.m. No fatalities have been reported, but at least two individuals sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
Lane closures in effect
Emergency services, including the New Jersey State Police and local paramedics, are on the scene. Northbound lanes are partially closed while crews work to clear the wreckage.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and expect delays exceeding 30 minutes.
According to traffic monitors, southbound traffic remains unaffected at this time.
