OGDEN, Utah (KUTV) — Traffic was heavily delayed on Interstate 15 in Ogden following a multi-vehicle crash involving two semi-trucks on October 5.
The Utah Department of Transportation reported the incident at approximately 6:30 a.m. According to Utah Highway Patrol, one vehicle was picking up cones in the area, causing congestion in the southbound lanes near 12th Street. A second semi-truck approached the backup too quickly, leading to the collision.
Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported and medical responders did not assess anyone on scene. The crash resulted in significant delays between Farr West and Ogden as crews worked to investigate and clear the area.
All lanes have since reopened, though drivers are cautioned to expect residual delays.
