GARDEN CITY, Idaho — A motorcyclist is in serious but stable condition following a crash into a tree on Thursday night.
The incident occurred around 9 p.m. on Ustick Road near West 43rd Street, according to the Garden City Police Department. Authorities reported the adult male rider lost control while navigating a curve, causing the motorcycle to veer off the road, cross the center median, and strike a tree.
Emergency responders from the Boise Fire Department and Ada County Paramedics treated the rider at the scene before transporting him to a local trauma center. Officials noted that the rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Investigators suspect alcohol may have been a contributing factor.
