Noblesville Teen Killed in Crash with Utility Pole on 156th Street.

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WRTV) — A 17-year-old Noblesville boy died Wednesday morning following a crash, according to the Noblesville Police Department.

Shehzil Aamir was at the scene of the accident, which occurred at 9:27 a.m. in the 13600 block of 156th Street, north of Ruoff Music Center and east of Olio Road. Authorities reported that Aamir was driving a 2020 Camry westbound at a high speed when he lost control and struck a utility pole, with no other vehicles involved.

The Noblesville Police Department's crash-reconstruction unit is investigating the incident and gathering evidence.

As of Wednesday afternoon, both lanes of 156th Street between Granite Peak Boulevard and Olio Road are restricted due to ongoing repairs by Duke Energy to the damaged utility pole.
