A man was seriously injured in a crash on Interstate 70 in Callaway County on Saturday.
The incident occurred at 11:55 a.m. on I-70, east of Highway 54.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 54-year-old man from Citrus Heights, CA, was driving a 2025 Volvo VNL westbound.
The truck veered off the road, collided with a Jersey barrier and a median barrier, and subsequently overturned.
A 51-year-old passenger, also from Citrus Heights, sustained serious injuries and was transported to University Hospital for treatment. The driver reported no injuries.
Emergency response included the Missouri State Highway Patrol. No further information on lane closures or the investigation was available at this time.
