The incident took place around 9:13 p.m. in the 3900 block of Avenue E East. According to Arlington police, the motorcycle crashed into the side of the truck as its driver was attempting to make a left turn from a store parking lot onto Avenue E.

At that moment, the motorcycle, traveling eastbound along Avenue E, was navigating a curve when the collision happened. Both the motorcycle rider and a female passenger were thrown from the bike due to the impact.

The rider, who was not wearing a helmet, was at the scene. His female companion sustained non-life-threatening injuries but opted not to be transported to the hospital.
