A collision involving a bicyclist occurred on County Road I in the Town of Portland, Dodge County, on Monday evening. The incident took place at approximately 7:10 p.m.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, a vehicle traveling south struck a southbound bicycle in the area. The bicyclist, a 72-year-old man from Waterloo, Wisconsin, sustained injuries and was subsequently transported to a hospital in Madison. Authorities confirmed he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The driver, a 46-year-old woman also from Waterloo, Wisconsin, did not suffer any injuries in the crash.
The Dodge County Crash Investigation Team is currently examining the circumstances surrounding the incident.
