Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Incident in Jackson
JACKSON, Miss. — A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Sunday in Jackson.
Officers responded at 1:58 a.m. to North State Street and Briarwood Drive, where they found 56-year-old Pamela Ellis lying in the street. Authorities confirmed that she died as a result of the collision.
There is currently no description of the vehicle involved in the incident. An investigation is ongoing, and authorities are seeking information from the public.
