ETHAN, S.D. — A 46-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday evening on private property south of Mitchell.
According to Davison County Sheriff Steve Harr, the accident occurred around 7:20 p.m. near the intersection of 407th Avenue and 263rd Street. The man was driving a 2012 Dodge Ram and was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Authorities confirmed the driver succumbed to injuries at the scene. The incident took place on the victim's property, and investigation into whether a seat belt was used is ongoing.
The Davison County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation, with assistance from the South Dakota Highway Patrol, Ethan Fire Department, and Mitchell EMS. Additional details about the crash remain limited.
