PRAIRIE TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A crash shortly after 7 a.m. Monday at U.S. 40 and Alton Darby Creek Road in Prairie Township left one dead.
Authorities identified the victim as 22-year-old Balin Derringer.
According to investigators, Derringer ran a red light and collided with a semi-truck at the intersection.
Traffic on U.S. 40 was shut down for hours Monday morning as crews responded and cleared the scene.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
