MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho (CBS2) — A single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning on I-84 in Elmore County resulted in the death of a 21-year-old Boise woman.
The incident occurred at 4:07 a.m. on June 21, 2026, at milepost 84.5, near Simco Road, according to Idaho State Police. The woman was driving a Subaru Crosstrek eastbound when she lost control, veered into the median, overcorrected, and overturned before coming to rest on the right shoulder.
Authorities confirmed that she died at the scene. The Elmore County Sheriff's Office assisted Idaho State Police with the response, and the crash remains under investigation.
