PAYETTE, Idaho — A 17-year-old boy died following a motorcycle crash at Clay Peak Motorcycle Park on Memorial Day.
According to the Payette County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred shortly before noon. Emergency responders received a 911 call reporting serious head injuries sustained by the victim.
Upon arrival, paramedics initiated life-saving measures. Life Flight was dispatched to transport the injured teenager; however, he succumbed to his injuries on-site and was not transported to a hospital.
The victim's identity has not been disclosed, and authorities confirmed that next of kin have been notified. The incident remains under investigation.
