LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A driver has been charged with murder and DUI following a fatal crash in Shively on Monday evening.
The incident occurred around 7:56 p.m. at the intersection of Rockford Lane and Dixie Highway. Upon arrival, officers found a woman in her mid-30s deceased at the scene, while another woman was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Authorities reported that the deceased was sitting at a bus stop when the collision took place. The driver, a man in his 30s, has been charged with DUI and murder; his name has not yet been released.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing, according to police.
