BONNEVILLE COUNTY, Idaho — A woman was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash on I-15 Saturday evening.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. at milepost 119.5 in Idaho Falls, according to the Idaho State Police (ISP). Authorities reported that a Honda Accord, driven by a 22-year-old man from Roseville, California, traveled northbound before using the emergency crossover and colliding with a Volkswagen Atlas attempting to enter the southbound lanes.
Emergency responders transported the 31-year-old female driver of the Volkswagen from Roberts, Idaho, to a local hospital. The severity of her injuries remains undisclosed.
ISP confirmed that the Honda driver and his two passengers were uninjured. All individuals involved were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
