A woman has been charged following a December 2025 pursuit that resulted in a crash in Warren County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) has requested charges against Amber F. McKinzie, 32, of High Point, Mo., for allegedly leading a chase that culminated in a serious two-car collision.
According to authorities, McKinzie was involved in a pursuit before crashing on Missouri 47, north of Halk Point Road, at 7:34 p.m.
Reports indicate McKinzie was traveling south in the northbound lane when she collided head-on with another vehicle, critically injuring the two 75-year-old occupants.
The male passenger suffered surgery for a broken tailbone and fractured vertebrae, while the female passenger underwent emergency surgery for a perforated lower intestine.
According to a probable cause statement, McKinzie was found in possession of a glass smoking pipe, suspected to be used for methamphetamine.
She faces charges of Aggravated Fleeing a Stop or Detention Causing Serious Physical Injury, Second-Degree Assault, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A warrant has been issued for her arrest with a no-bond condition.
